CROP Walk
Sunday, October 27, 2013
Sponsored by the
Greater Nashua Interfaith Council

Save the date for the 29th annual Greater Nashua CROP Walk!  Sunday, October 27, 2013.  This year, First Church is providing the coordination for what we hope will be another successful Walk.

Last year, over 312 walkers from various Nashua area faith communities raised over $40,617. Since 1985, over $908,000. has been raised.

Twenty-five percent of the funds generated by the Walk go to support local agencies that help to provide relief to those who struggle daily with the issues of poverty and hunger.  The local recipients for the 2012 Walk were Nashua Soup Kitchen/Shelter, John Neumann Food Pantry, Corpus Christi, and Salvation Army.

The CROP Walk will be hosted by Temple Beth Abraham, which is located on 4 Raymond St., NashuaRegistration begins at noon, the opening worship is at 1:00 p.m., and the Walk begins at 1:30 p.m.

The Walk route, which winds through downtown Nashua and Mines Falls, is approximately six miles long.  An alternative route of approximately three miles is available for families with small children.  Both routes begin and end at Temple Beth Abraham.

The Walk concludes with a Celebration Gathering that includes a cookout and musical entertainment.
