Greater Nashua Interfaith Hospitality Network
Through a unique partnership with diverse faith communities and secular community resources, GNIHN provides emergency transitional shelter, meals and supportive services to sustain a community-wide effort of compassion for homeless families.
In the Interfaith Hospitality Network Program, a Host Congregation furnishes clean, safe, overnight lodging and nutritious meals for homeless families (up to fourteen people) for one week at a time. Hosting occurs every four to twelve weeks, depending on the availability of the hosting locations. Support locations fill an important role by providing Host Congregations with needed resources. All guests are alchohol-free and drug-dependant-free.
First Church is a member of the GNIHN.
