Joseph R. Olefirowicz, CAGO

Mr. Olefirowicz is a native of Methuen , MA . Serving various church and choral organizations throughout the Merrimack Valley and Upstate New York in his youth, he graduated from Ithaca College in 1994 with a BA in Direction for the Musical Stage. After graduation, he was based in Germany for 14 consecutive years, as a solo artist and conductor on the European continent and United States. Podium engagements at major opera houses, symphony orchestras, and musical theatres include Vienna, Berlin, Leipzig, Stuttgart, Düsseldorf, Bochum and Nordhausen.

Joe began his work with First Church on June 1, 2008. He remains active as a solo artist, and is privileged to remain a conductor on the roster of the Vienna Volksoper.
